About
the Camps ...
The Clay Hightower Tennis Academy offers its camps at Berry College,
just outside of Rome, GA. The five one-week camps are residential,
coeducational, and open to all levels of tennis players from ages
9 to 16. Campers will spend their days in a variety of activities
with the focal point being 5 to 6 hours of fun-filled tennis instruction.
The ratio of campers to instructors is 5-1.
Our
goals at the Berry College Camps are to improve each camper's tennis
skills and to have fun while doing it. An integral part of the program
will be teaching the basics of hard work and good sportsmanship.
Tennis instruction will focus on proper grips, footwork, positioning,
stroke production, shot selection, and strategy. Each camper will
have the opportunity to hit hundreds of balls during basket drills,
live ball drills, and match-play situations.
Camp
